Robert Tick, PFP®, CIM®, FCSI®
Rob Tick started in the financial services industry in 1995. He joined a bank-owned firm in 1998 and moved his practice to Mandeville Private Client in 2015. Within an independent firm, Rob was able to develop fully his Invest Differently approach. This is centred around using clear, proven processes to cut down risk, close gaps and identify financial opportunities.
Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts from Queen's University, as well as the Professional Financial Planner and Chartered Investment Manager designations. He has also completed Level One of the Chartered Financial Analyst program. Since joining the industry, he has worked through multiple economic shifts, including the 1998 and 2008 downturns, through which he has gained a critical perspective on investor behaviour. This has led him to reinforce practiced strategies and procedures throughout his process with clients, so that he can calmly and confidently steer them to their goals without undue risk.
In addition to skiing and the outdoors, Rob enjoys spending his free time volunteering for charitable causes. He is currently a board member and a board president for two local organizations.
